About us
Who we are, what we do, and how we impact the community.
Who we are, what we do, and how we impact the community.
We work with over 150 students annually, providing educational, enriching, and challenging after school and summer programs. There is a place for every student, regardless of background, in our curriculum.
Founder and Executive Director Nancy Mwirotsi has dedicated her life to advocating for underrepresented individuals, including refugees, young women, and people of color. She believes that success comes from opportunity and works to create such opportunities.
She founded Pi515 in 2014 to support high school students who would be the first in their families to graduate high school and attend college. Today, over 130 Pi515 students have graduated high school and continued to postsecondary education. Pi515 is working to increase diversity in STEM careers, close the digital gap, and build a tech pipeline.
Volunteering at Pi515 is a great way for members of the community to give back and support local students. No prior tech knowledge is necessary.
A variety of backgrounds and skills are greatly appreciated. We are always looking for people willing to share their time and energy with a great group of kids.
